Can anybody Tell Me Why they dont use roman numerals at the end of Movie Credits anymore?

I'd bet that in 2000 and 2001, the Roman numerals, MM and MMI, look too much like some kind of scientific abbreviation, or initials for something else. Either the production staff got confused, or thought viewers would be confused.
