Is cheating really cheating when one is incarcerated?

I have a friend who is waiting for her boyfriend to get out of prison, here in about a year. She has cheated on him and I tell her that it is wrong, stating "what he don't know won't hurt him" I believe trust issues are violated a great deal on her part, what do you all think?
