What kinds of hair lengthening products work best?

I was just wondering, what's your opinion on which hair lengthening products work best? My hair is at a really awkward length right now, and I want it to grow faster. I do not want to resort to a weave. There are some drugstore hair lengthening products, but I don't want to throw money away on one that won't work. What do you think works the best?
