Obscure REM song?

Can someone please tell me what this song is? I heard it back in the early 90s and I'm pretty sure it must have been an import or something because I can't find it on any CD: This is the only part I remember (I think): "Up stairs, through the kitchen, up the stairs do do do do oh-oh-oh" I realize that information is probably not very helpful, but there must be a music nerd somewhere that can tell me what the name of that song is! It is driving me crazy!
