Im moving to the UK what school uniform is required in year 10/11?

Its sucks having uniform, Im moving from Sweden where I can wear whatever I want to school. (my english dad says I look like a christmas tree(jewelry). Im moving to the Brighton area, what uniform is required? I know the colours and badges vary from school to school, but just the basic stuff, I dont have to wear a tie do I!? Im a girl! (LOL a guy with jewelry......)
