How much food should my almost 6 month old be eating?

I feed my son cereal with half a jar of fruit in the a.m and then a jar of a veggie at night. He also eats a 6 oz bottle every 31/2- 4 hours. I kno at 7 months i will no longer get 9 cans from WIC i will only get 7. So how much food should he be eating now. He is only 6 months on sept 11.
